How to Get Involved
UK Malnutrition Awareness Week © takes place between 14th and 20th October and there are lots of ways to show your support!
JOIN OUR LUNCH CLUB CAMPAIGN
This year we are encouraging lunch clubs across Scotland to get involved in raising awareness of UK Malnutrition Awareness Week ©.
Lunch clubs are the perfect setting to have conversations around food, eating and appetite. With support from Eat Well Age Well, we can equip you to host a special themed event to help raise awareness of good nutrition and hydration in later life at your lunch club.

MAKE THE PLEDGE
Share how you will encourage more conversations about food, appetite and eating well by filling in our pledge. Whether you work, care or volunteer with older people, or have older relatives, neighbours and friends, let us know how you'll help support older adults in your community.
Download and print, take a photo, then post on social media using the hashtags:
Screening older adults for malnutrition may sound like a daunting task but is in fact a very simple process and an effective way to identify if an older person is at risk.
A screening station can be easily set up almost anywhere including lunch clubs, community centres, GP surgeries or at an event such a coffee morning.
If you work, care or volunteer with older adults then Eat Well Age Well provides support, training and resources.
