11th – 17th March is Nutrition & Hydration Week and we will be sharing lots of tips, resources and advice surrounding older adults, eating well in later life and preventing malnutrition.
Prevention is key when it comes to malnutrition. One very simple and effective method is fortifying meals, drink and snacks with added calories and protein to make sure every bite counts, especially if an older person is struggling with a poor appetite.
Using fortified milk is a great example of this and can be used just like
