Raising the Issue of Malnutrition – FREE Training

We are delighted to introduce our FREE Raising the Issue of Malnutrition training for 2019, with dates now available to book.

This training aims to increase practitioner’s knowledge and confidence around identifying and supporting older people at home in the community who are at risk, or are suffering from malnutrition, and incorporates information on:

  • Common signs and symptoms of malnutrition
  • Guidance around supporting individuals using Food First advice.
  • Utilising simple tools such as armbands to identify at risk individuals. 
  • Support in evaluating work/projects around older people and food

Raising the Issue of Malnutrition is open to Small Ideas, Big Impact grant holders and applicants, NHS, Local Authority, Carers, Volunteers, Voluntary Sector staff and other interested individuals who work to support older people.

    Enquiring about the Malnutrition training on 14th Feb in Edinburgh. When does if start/finish? Any places available? Thanks!


    1. Hi Andrew, apologies for the delayed reply. We still have places available for our Aberdeen training on 3rd April, however I can add you to our mailing list to be kept of future Edinburgh dates if that would be of interest?
