Malnutrition Training – Join the #EWAWChat on Wed 25th Nov

Join us on Twitter on Wed 25th Nov as we discuss the topic of malnutrition training and how we can help support older people to eat well, age well & live well.

Whether you work with older people, volunteer or are a carer we would love to hear your views and/or experiences on why training on the issue of malnutrition is important. You might have attended one of our Raising the Issue of Malnutrition training sessions in the past and want to share your thoughts & experience. Maybe you’d like to see mandatory training being put into action, or have some suggestions about how training can be more accessible to more people. We hope you can get involved in the chat!

How to Get Involved

The EWAW Twitter Chat will take place on Wed 25th Nov from 4pm – 5pm All you need to do to get involved is simply to follow us @EatWellScot and/or the hashtag #EWAWChat.

Here’s a preview to the 6 questions we’ll be asking if you want to prep your answers in advance

Q1. Why is training around the issue of malnutrition in older people important?

Q2. What training is available and is there enough awareness about training opportunities?

Q3. If you attended our Raising the Issue of Malnutrition training how did this impact your own work with older people?

Q4. What challenges might prevent you (or your staff) from engaging in training

Q5. During these unprecedented times what could EWAW do to help support you (or your staff) to engage in training?
