Raising the Issue of Malnutrition
Our Raising the Issue of Malnutrition training aims to increase your knowledge and confidence around identifying malnutrition (as under-nutrition) and gives practical advice on supporting older people who are at risk. This training incorporates information on:
- Common signs and symptoms of malnutrition.
- Guidance around supporting individuals using Food First advice.
- Utilising simple tools such as armbands and the Patient Association Nutrition Checklist to identify at risk individuals.
- Gaining awareness of promoting good nutrition and hydration in older adults.
Training is FREE to attend and takes place between 9.15am – 12.30pm on Zoom.

REHIS: Eating Well for Older People course
The REHIS Eating Well for Older People course aims to provide participants with the knowledge and appreciation of the importance of good nutrition for older people and how to support them to eat well. The course is non-clinical and is suitable for anyone working with older people in the community, or for older people themselves.
Training is FREE to attend and takes place between 9.15am – 12.30pm on Zoom.
