We were delighted that Clare Adamson MSP for Motherwell and Wishaw led a debate in the Scottish Parliament on Tues 26th October on the issue of malnutrition in Older People.
The motion was submitted as part of our awareness raising campaign #LetsBuildThePicture for UK Malnutrition Awareness Week (11th-17th Oct 2021).
There was cross party support for the motion, with fantastic contributions during the debate from MSPs including. @JackieDunbarSNP, Alexander Stewart MSP, @FionaHyslop @CMochan @StephySNP.
Our key highlight was the announcement from @MareeToddMSP of a short life working group to look at issues raised in the debate.
