Eat Well Age Well Roadshow Touring Scotland

Eat Well Age Well is going on tour, looking for great ideas that will help older people living at home to eat well, age well and live well.

The Small Ideas, Big Impact fund is offering grants ranging from £50 to £5000 and is open to groups and individuals who feel they could help test ways to detect, prevent or treat malnutrition.

The Eat Well Age Well Roadshow begins on 6th August in Stirling and will visit Glasgow, Edinburgh, Perth, Dundee, Galashiels and Livingston, with further locations yet to be announced. If you would like more information about the grants scheme, or advice on your application then drop in to your nearest venue where we’ll be more than happy to help.

Innovations Officer Gail Hutchison is looking forward to hearing your ideas: “The Small Ideas Big Grants fund is a great opportunity for people to really make a difference to older people in their community. Whether you’re a carer who would like training to spot the signs of malnutrition, or you run a café and want to host an event to bring older people together through food, everyone has the opportunity to apply for our grants and ideas, no matter how big or small will be considered.”

The Small Ideas, Big Impact fund will be open for submissions in October 2018 and you can find out more by visiting our Grants page. Make sure to also follow us on social media to keep updated with our Roadshow event.
